Passport to Manhood

The Pearl Foundation's Passport to Manhood program proudly celebrates a new group of young men graduating from its transformative initiative. This program is designed to guide participants through the crucial transition from adolescence to adulthood, providing them with essential life skills, leadership training, and character development. Through a series of engaging workshops and mentorship opportunities, these young men have demonstrated remarkable growth, resilience, and commitment to personal development. The graduates have not only learned to navigate life's challenges with confidence but have also gained a renewed sense of responsibility to their communities. The program aims to empower young men to emerge as thoughtful, capable, and socially responsible leaders. Financial Literacy Program

April 20, 2024

The Pearl Foundation of Puget Sound, in collaboration with the Seattle Credit Union, recently hosted a Financial Literacy workshop for young adults in Tacoma, WA. This event aimed to equip participants with essential financial knowledge and skills to help them make informed decisions about money management, budgeting, saving, and investing. The workshop provided valuable insights on building credit, understanding loans, and navigating the ins and outs of personal finance. By partnering together, the Pearl Foundation of Puget Sound and Seattle Credit Union demonstrated their shared commitment to empowering the youth in Tacoma with the financial education needed to secure a successful and stable future.

Passport to Manhood

Class of 2023

The Pearl Foundation of Puget Sound's FY23 Passport to Manhood Program focuses on shaping young boys into valued members of society by providing them with essential life skills, mentorship, and support. This program offers a safe and nurturing environment where boys can explore and develop positive behaviors, leadership qualities, and social responsibility. 

The Pearl Foundation of Puget Sound recently supported a youth football team by sponsoring their participation in a local football tournament. The foundation's contribution helped cover the team's travel expenses, ensuring that the players could fully engage in the competition. Through this support, the foundation not only encouraged the young athletes to hone their skills and sportsmanship but also promoted teamwork, discipline, and healthy competition. By backing the youth football team, the Pearl Foundation of Puget Sound demonstrates its commitment to empowering and uplifting the next generation of community leaders.
