Our Story

The Pearl Foundation of Puget Sound is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in November 1998 by members of the Delta Pi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. Our mission is to provide essential support and guidance to youth in the Puget Sound area, particularly those who lack positive role models in their lives.

We are dedicated to connecting local youth with inspiring adult mentors who can relate to their experiences and challenges. Our mentors not only demonstrate that someone cares, but they also set high expectations for personal growth, empowering our children to become effective community members and leaders. We believe that children thrive when given opportunities for learning and development, and we work to link individuals with community programs that ignite their passion for higher education and introduce them to a world of diverse career possibilities.

Our goal is to help youth overcome obstacles and break through barriers that life presents. Since our inception, the Pearl Foundation has supported organizations focused on serving children, families, and communities, with a particular emphasis on youth education. Additionally, we have been assisting similar organizations since 2001, amplifying our impact in the community.
